Bamboo Potential

Vision

The cultural well-being and economic development of indigenous communities in the Cordilleras through the village values of olnos and og-ogbo, which are cooperation and mutual dependence to acheive organic solidarity.

Mission

Develop and provide programs and services that will revive effective traditional practices and integrate these with recent technologies for the cultural well-being and eonomic advanccement of Cordillera farmers and crafts-people.

Goal

Provide training and empowerment propgrams on highland organic agriculture, herbal farming, and entrepreneurship to farmers and crafts-people in the different provinces of the Cordillera region

Winaca is a Cordillera word which literally means "made of waca" a sturdy forest vine used for binding house parts, baskets and other materials. It is also an acronym of Winaca's founders. Wilson and Narda Capuyan.
